Ow'er 'igh StreetOw'er 'igh Street, commissioned by Richard Harvey in celebration of the life of his Great Grandfather and citizen of Radstock (Somerset) - Samuel Lloyd Harvey (1858-1952), is a four-movement major work for brass band, employing selected folk songs from Somerset.

'The Chronicle of Anne Bonny'The Chronicle of Anne Bonny, commissioned by Boroondara Brass and premiered at the 2023 Australian National Band Championships, celebrates the tale of female pirate Anne Bonny. Features ominous vocals and unique percussion writing including glass bottles.

'Vengeance'Composed for the 2019 Australian National Band Championships Open D Grade Test Work, Vengeance is a through composed test work for 3rd/4th Section. Loosely inspired by the tale of the Trung Sisters in Vietnam, Vengeance explores the inevitable destructive nature of acts of revenge.

'Buckley'Jared's first major work for brass band, Buckley was commissioned by Richard Harvey for Jeff Steele and the Geelong West Brass Band. Following the incredible story of William Buckley, the 16 minute work is a fantastic programmatic test piece or own choice selection. Featuring quasi didgeridoo tuba lines, solos for various members of the ensemble and tremendous ensemble passages, Buckley is a fantastic new brass band test, written by Jared at age 19.
Difficulty - A-B Grade Price - AU$160 NOW AVAILABLE: 'Buckley's Chance'Specially abridged version of Buckley, Buckley's Chance was written for the Junior A Grade Brass at the 2021 Australian National Band Championships. Reduced to 14 minutes and slightly easier than its predecessor, Buckley's Chance is a perfect selection for Open B/C Grade brass bands.

'Just Cause'A reflective item for brass band, Just Cause was first composed for brass quartet, coming 2nd place in the A4 Brass Quartet's 2018 Composition Competition. This arrangement for brass band was commissioned by a number of Australian bands and bands people and makes a perfect secular reflective item for a concert or contest stage!

'Bread of the World'An arrangement of John S. Hodge's setting of Reginald Heber's 1825 poem, 'Bread of the World' features the full richness of a brass band's sound. With contrasting iterations of the hymn tune passed around the band, this acts as a perfect selection for a sacred item work.

'Precious Name'Commissioned by Sunshine Brass in memory of Roger Roache, 'Precious Name' is a musical tribute to the legacy Roger left on the Queensland and Australian banding community. 'Stella'An arrangement of Henri Friedrich Hemy's adaption of a Northern English folk song, 'Stella' includes substantial features for flugelhorn and Principal Cornet, as well as shorter features for 1st Baritone, Eb Bass, Principal Euphonium and Soprano Cornet. A unique setting of a pleasant sacred item.

'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot'A hymn-style arrangement of Wallace Willis' classic spiritual tune. Perfect for a sacred item work for competition or as a delicate arrangement of the American classic. Wonderful flugelhorn solo to open and melodious tenor countermelodies throughout. A must have for any band!

'Never Celt Better'Finalist in the 2022 River City Brass Composers Competition, 'Never Celt Better' is an Irish-inspired concert item for brass band and percussion. The work draws inspiration from the folk-melody foundation, soloist-led spontaneity and embracing joyfulness of an Irish session, and is guaranteed to leave an audience tapping its toes and longing for one final chorus!

'Atchafalaya''Atchafalaya' is a New Orleans Style tune composed by Michael League, included on Snarky Puppy and Metropole Orkest's combined album 'Sylva'. Featuring the band's lower brass and percussion sections, 'Atchafalaya' is a bombastic swing number capturing the energy of the surroundings of Louisiana's Atchafalaya River.

'Freefall'Commissioned by Fletcher Mitchell and the City of Greater Dandenong Band, 'Freefall' is an 8 minute Euphonium Solo, inspired by Felix Baumgartner's Red Bull Stratos Freefall jump in 2012. Quiet and reflective to open, then brisk and tumultuous before opening up to a heroic conclusion, 'Freefall' is an epic Euphonium solo for strong Euphonium players.

'PZAZZ'Awarded the South Brisbane Federal Composition Competition Under 21 Robyn Young Award in 2017, "PZAZZ" is an exciting entertainment work featuring the brass band as a whole, while also showcasing the 1st Baritone, Solo Cornet, Tuba section and Solo Tenor Horn as soloists. PZAZZ encourages bands to embrace the vitality and showmanship of performing with "pzazz", and putting on an electrifying and entertaining show. Perfect number to open or close a concert, leaving the audience buzzing from the foot tapping rhythms and incredible solos.

An arrangement of Percy Code's classic solo "At Dawn" for tuba solo and brass band accompaniment. Perfect for a brass band of any standard, with a tuba player looking for a challenge! Solo parts are available for Eb Bass, Bb Bass and Bass Clef Tuba. Written for Richard Harvey and Geelong West Brass Band, this work is as Australian as brass band music gets; an Australian composition arranged by an Australian for an Australian band!

'Bittersweet'This energetic work is a crowd favourite! With John Barry influences, the piece feels very much like an explosive James Bond score! A riveting challenge for all members of the band, and plenty of fun for a crowd too.

'Late Night Promenade'Inspired by Big Band swing, 'Late Night Promenade' is Jared's first composition for Brass Band. With ample drum kit features, as well as trombone and flugelhorn solos, this tune is a great swinging number that adds variety to a band's repertoire.
