Jared's debut composition for Brass Band, 'Late Night Promenade' is an upbeat, Big Band swing style work. With "Sing, Sing, Sing" style drums and playful melodies thrown around the band, the piece is a great celebration of the swing dance era of the early 20th century. Jared wrote this work based on his recollections of the bright lights and aural energy from when he walked along the Yarra promenade as a young child.
