'Music for a Jamboree' is one of two works commissioned for Horsham Rural City Band's 150th Anniversary in 2022, and was premiered by the band on 15 October 2022 at the Horsham Town Hall in western Victoria. A celebratory work capturing the party spirit of the band members within their community, 'Music for a Jamboree' is a spirited bop featuring funky bass lines, syncopated melodies and bombastic percussion.
