Written as part of a spontaneous series of 'crowd commissions' in 2020, 'Onwards and Upwards' is an uplifting solo for soprano cornet. At about 3.5 minutes length, 'Onwards and Upwards' is a toe-tapping crowd pleaser that must be in every soprano cornet soloist's solo repertoire.
